About Plug Studios

Who are we?
We are privately owned and run as a partnership. Established in 1997, we have never relied on handouts from the government or other bodies. From humble beginnings, we have heavily reinvested in our business, ensuring our equipment is always fully up to date and properly maintained.

Who are our customers?
We don’t restrict ourselves to any particular age/race/religion groups, and are disabled friendly. Everyone is welcome at Plug Studios. We have children as young as seven visiting the studios, right up to those looking forward to retirement. Some of our customers are just beginning their musical journeys, whilst others are professional musicians.

We are open seven days a week.

Free parking is available both sites, and all studios are situated at ground floor level to ensure easy access.

Both our Mountergate site and Kingsway site are situated within walking distance of the city centre and bus stops. In addition, Mountergate is a five minute walk from the train station.
